About the Event
Join us on a Sunday afternoon of each month for the rest of 2020 for Yoga Nidra! Yoga Nidra is a conscious state of deep relaxation and awareness. In this state, we are given access to restore our abilities to heal by reducing stress and bringing a newfound sense of clarity and calm.
In Sanskrit, nidra means sleep. However, yogic sleep is distinct from sleeping, dreaming, or even meditation. Practiced regularly, it is not only restorative but can be deeply transformative as well. Valerie Hwang is a yoga nidra instructor certified by the California College of Ayurveda and a founding member of AwakenAware: A Yoga Nidra Collaborative.

Prepare your session with a yoga mat or comfortable surface to lie on, as well as a pillow and blanket (optional). The session will be held on Zoom so that everyone can participate from the comfort of their own homes.
