Balanced Living - Ayurveda & Yoga
Time & Location
About the Event
Although often treated as two separate practices in the States, the sister sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda have been practiced in India for thousands of years together as part of an integrated and complete system of well-being. Just as the well-being of the mind is linked with the well-being of the body, the practice of one is incomplete without the practice of the other. In this two-hour seminar, join Aimee Echo of Ashtanga Yoga Long beach and Valerie Hwang of Intrepid Ayurveda in an interactive discussion on the relationship between these two powerhouse sister sciences and how we can utilize Ayurvedic principles to deepen our Yoga practices and bring greater balance to our everyday lives.
